Tutkun is an expert in Robotics, Control Theory, Haptics, Sensor Fusion, Navigation, and Image Guidance. He is skilled in building and leading teams that design robotic software algorithms and has a proven track record of success in this area. Tutkun is currently the Head of Robotics and Control, Research & Innovation at Noah Medical, where he is responsible for leading the development of cutting-edge robotic technologies. Prior to joining Noah Medical, Tutkun worked at Johnson & Johnson, where he was the Sr. Manager of Robotics and Control, leading the Arm Manipulator Surgery Robotics & Control Team of the Ottava platform and overseeing multiple Software development sub-groups with the goal to build a product that will change the robotic surgery. He also served as the Manager of Robotics and Control at Johnson & Johnson. Tutkun's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master's degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
